[AToFG 2014] December painting Eldar Revenant Titan from Forge World
Here is my final set for the Tale of Four Gamers 2014 Painting Challenge:
The Eldar Revenant Titan from Forge World.
This was by far my most difficult mini to model and paint and I learned a lot. I would still like to tweek some details but the point of this painting challenge is to finish projects!!

November painting update: Epic Armageddon
For the month of November, I am taking a break from the Eldar Revenant Titan, for which all the airbrush work is basically done, to finish painting my Epic Space Wolf army. This army was started at least 10 years ago and I am finally getting around to finishing it thanks for the Epic Day. This is a fan held event in France which is taking place on Dec 6th. The idea is to play Epic with some special scenarios during that day. More information (in French) here.
As you can see, the change in scale is rather drastic and is also quite refreshing...

Gaming Convention in France : Festival International des Jeux de Cannes, Feb 28th- March 2nd 2014
A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to go to a gaming convention in the south of France: the Festival International des Jeux de Cannes.
Here are some pics:
The entrance:
Chessex were here !!! Dice !!!
I tried Quantum (which I had discovered thanks to Rodney Smith from Watch it played). Amazing game !
The red carpet for some VIPs
Giant version of Ticket to Ride:
Giant version of Mah-jong
A game similar to Werewolf or Mafia but vampire-themed. Fun :
Dice Town, not as fun as I thought...
Pathfinder, the Adventure Card Game. A little disappointed, I think the game may have been poorly explained to us:
The builders Middle Age (Les Batisseurs Moyen Age). Fun but out of stock. It got a prize at the Festival:
I played in a Summoner Wars tourney. So much fun, so many Phoenix Elves...
Giant version of Pandemic:
Nice view on the riviera during lunch break:
Takenoko, giant collector's edition:
Giant version of Dockers, a fun little beer and pretzel game:
Longhorn:
Blueprint, a nice surprise:

Warmachine-Hordes APAV 3 - Helping out at a tournament
This weekend, the APAV 3 Warmachine/Hordes tournament took place in Paris. This tournament was organised by our gaming club with help from others and is a 50 pts steamroller tournament which takes place over two complete days (6 games in total).
I don't have the skill and the painted army for this tourney but I helped with some of the organization and it was really fun.
The night before, we installed the tables and terrain:
The overall appearance winner (including painting, basing, theme, extras...):
A nifty status effect/spells/token holder designed and built by one of the players. It saves time when you are on the clock!

Then the tournament took place. I helped out with appearance judging and other little things here and there. There were some really beautiful armies:
