Warhammer Fantasy Gaming: Triumph and Treachery Expansion

Last Friday, we tried a multi-player Warhammer Fantasy game using the news Triumph and Treachery Expansion. We were 5 players, each with 1500 pts. We didn't use the Mercenary rules for this game.

My Dark Elf Army was roughly:

-Dreadlord on Cold One (with Sword of Anti-Heroes, very useful against the Bretonnians)
-Sorceress Level 1 on foot (lore of Death, got the Purple Sun)
-7 Cold-One Knights with full command
-15 Black Guards
-20 Dreadspears with full command
-10 Darkshards
-1 War Hydra with fiery spit upgrade

My opponents had Bretonnians with 2 lances of Knights errants and Knights of the realm, pegasus knights archers and a trebuchet ; Ogre Knigdom with the iron blaster, lead belchers, and other ogre units ; Tomb Kings with many chariots, screaming skull catapult and other skeleton units ; Orcs and goblins with a giant, black orks, chariots, night goblins and other orcs units.

The game was lots of fun and I will definitely be getting this expansion. The treachery and interfering with other players which comes from the added cards was very fun. Added bonus, I won with 1100 gold at the end.

Here are some pictures of the game:

  1. Nice work Kim. I've been thinking about picking the expansion up next time I'm at AG.
